Test out our API by using our Swagger Docs

Our FairX fair pricing API has one primary endpoint at this time. Our endpoint will take a price you provide in one country's currency, and localize it to a different country's currency, with Purchase Power Parity considered.
Note: you will need to register and receive an API token to send test API calls.

Data

FairX leverages publicly available data sources from the Bank of Canada and other central banks or international financial institutions to get the most accurate financial data, at the highest update frequency possible. Due to the limitations of our data sources, the update frequency may vary. For all economies in the world with high international trade and foreign exchange market volume, we have daily or more frequent updating rates. For all other countries, we update at least annually. The data updates each weekday, for all supported currencies.

In this section we will review all of the currencies that FairX supports or does not support and all details regarding currencies.

Unsupported Currencies

Due to our operations in countries like Canada, the United States, and South Korea, we can not support various currencies due to reasons beyond our control. The currencies we can not support at this time due to geopolitical reasons: - KPW - North Korean Won - RUB - Russian Ruble - IRR - Iranian Rial The following currencies can not be supported at this time due to a lack of readily available economic markets data: - SLE - Sierra Leonean Leone - MNT - Mongolian Tughrik - ERN - Eritrean Nakfa - SSP - South Sudanese Pound - STN - Sao Tomean Dobra - SYP - Syrian Pound - VUV - Vanuatu Vatu - WST - Samoan Tala - ZWG - Zimbabwen Gold - TWD - New Taiwan Dollar - CHF - Swiss Franc
